“Didn't know what to expect but when we pulled into the lot it was everything we wanted and more! Site was well stocked with things we didn't even think we would need! So quiet and peaceful! Having the woodstove inside was so nice for sleeping time! It was definitely a moment in time for us! We hope to come back and stay longer!”
“Five of us came up from NY to celebrate a friend’s birthday and had a wonderful time at Carol’s Tentrr site. It’s close enough to the road for access but definitely secluded enough to feel like we were surrounded by trees and wouldn’t be bothered. Did not hear any sounds from the road. We found the hiking path on the property very easily and it was about 20 minutes through some gorgeous forest to the waterfalls. We came back to the camp site and cooked mushroom pesto quesadillas.. brought our own portable camping stove with propane, but we were able to keep a fire going in the pit, so cooking there would have been a workable option as well. The table was equipped with essentials like paper towels and citronella candles that came in very handy. We sang songs by the fire and had a pretty magical evening accompanied by beautiful yellow and purple moths. The bunk bed air mattresses were comfortable, though I’d recommend bringing an extra blanket or two, as it gets cold at night (we didn’t try the wood stove/furnace so that limely would have been good for warmth as well.) No trouble with creatures, as we stored our food in the car overnight. One of us slept in a hammock (brought from home) outside of the tent and it was quite peaceful. From Carol’s directions/recommendations, we found an awesome public spot to swim in the Delaware River the next day. Carol was available via text the whole time and was kind enough to ship a forgotten pillowcase back to us without charge. Highly recommend Deer Run, serene and lush and lively.”
“Very nice spot, surrounded by woods and with a short walk you can find some of her waterfalls that were very pretty. There is a road adjacent to hers but you rarely!!!!! heard any cars and you absolutely do not see anyone around, the property is pretty large and your the only ones on it! Carol was also awesome for responding to any questions I had. We had a lovely stay and would absolutely stay again.”
