We are very sorry to hear that you had a less-than-ideal stay at one of our campsites. Since your review, we've gotten in touch with the host at this particular site and addressed some of your concerns. She is aware of them and moving forward with future bookings, will be more mindful of the items you mentioned.

“This site was ideal! The mowed paths both to the tent and to the pond were easy to navigate, the sense of privacy was appreciated and well done. The homemade jam was a delicious addition, as was the great campfire cooking!”
“We had a great time staying at this site. It was quiet, secluded, and the views were stunning. The campsite sat on top of the hill and there was a mowed and scenic trail and wraps around leading to a small pond. We spent most of the time relaxing at the campsite and playing fetch with our dog. The site had everything needed for a comfortable stay including an elevated fire pit for easily making and containing a fire, firewood and kindling, and the Tentrr tent was clean. Pamela even left us some fresh vegetables picked from their farm. It was a great weekend stay, we would definitely recommend.”
“The campsite was lovely and absolutely perfect for our needs. It is located at the top of a hill, which made it a little difficult to get to as our cars struggled to make it up the incline, but even that was workable. Even more outstanding than the campsite were the hosts; we had multiple instances of car trouble (at one point both vehicles were stuck at the bottom of the hill, and at another we had a dead battery that wouldn't jump) and the hosts were extremely kind and willing to help us sort all of that out. We all agreed that we would absolutely return to this site–just with vehicles more capable of handling the steep, unpaved hill! The views were absolutely gorgeous, and the site itself was lovely and comfortable.”

Only cons: The pond is gunky and not for human swimming (at least when we were there) but it was great for our dog. Super relaxing. Only downside was the lack of a close swimming area because it was hot! Bring something to make shade for yourself / your pet during the day.”
“The campsite was wonderful! Super secluded and a gorgeous view. The tent was cozy and the heater worked wonderfully when it got chilly at night! The only thing of note: lots of spiders in the tent. The site is in an excellent location and the hosts left a huge, very helpful binder with a list of attractions in the area AND the time it takes to get there from the campsite. 10/10 would absolutely recommend!!”
