“Jon and Helen opened their mountaintop site to us for one of the last cold weekends in April. The site was beautifully stewarded, private, and fully stocked with everything we needed to enjoy a simple night in nature. The site borders parkland and has an open Meadow for star gazing. We had everything we needed, and knew that Jon and Helen were close by if anything came up for us. Thank you both, we hope to be back soon to spend time in the space through the changing seasons!”
“Amazing location, very private and open space with plenty of room to explore. The tent is very comfortable, and the amenities make it a very luxurious experience compared to old school camping. Head to Ellenville for dinner and drinks and so much swimming and hiking to experience at Peekamoose. Great location and great hosts.”
“We enjoyed out time at this Tentrr. Our hosts, Jon and Helen, were very attentive and gave us a comprehensive lists of activities to do near by; hiking, climbing, restaurants, etc. We didn’t bring what we needed to heat water, so they also provided us with hot water for our tea and coffee. This campsite is close to the Vernooy Falls, which also intersects with other hiking paths. We also went to the Lake Minnewaska State Park- we highly recommend it! We look forward to coming back next summer!”

“We were looking for an escape from NYC and Sunrise Meadow was absolutely perfect. The area was so serene, and we loved wandering around the meadow picking fresh blueberries! It was so convenient that we could walk from the site to Vernooy Falls, and we spent the day relaxing by the water. The host, Helen, was very accommodating and she made sure that we had everything that we needed for a great stay. Could not recommend Sunrise Meadow enough!”
