“My seven year old and I took our puppy camping for the first time. We love Tentrr and this property offers the seclusion we have come to expect but being twenty minutes from town, we were able to drive in for seafood that evening further minimizing the supplies we had to bring. The bed was made up prior to our arrival and the butane stove made breakfast prep easy. The heated outdoor shower is something I had not seen before but will be missed going forward whenever camping elsewhere. Kayaking along the intercostal waterway was even better than enjoying the views from our campsite and we saw an otter for which it is named. There is road noice from 64 which another review mentioned but the views more than make up for it. The host meet us upon our arrival and quickly answered any questions that came up during our stay. Water access is rustic but so worth it. Upon our return home we booked a longer stay in July.”
“This water front view was absolutely beautiful and the highlight of this stay. Host Stan is a great guy and willing to help and the property is magical. Tentrr tent was sufficient. Not so pleasant was the very heavy traffic noise, directly next to a main hwy. Of course no one enjoys using a bag as a toilet but it could certainly be better if it wasn’t right next to the tent. This rental has so much potential and with a little cleanup it would have been much more worth the money spent. I enjoyed my stay but I’m not sure I’d return.”
“My son and I had the nicest stay in VA. Our host was so incredibly helpful and went out of his way to provide everything we needed for our overnight.
The tent was clean and comfortable, perfect for a quick camp out without having to bring hardly anything. We had absolute privacy while also feeling safe and so close to town. I highly recommend staying here!”
“This place is amazing and gorgeous. The family is so sweet and very nice. The site location could not be better and it makes camping 10x easier having things already set up. The tent is very clean other than a couple bugs which was only a few the whole time I was there. The owner is so sweet and helped us carry our things to the site since it was raining as well. Highly recommend!!”
