“The tent was very dirty; dead skinks under bed, mattress covered in bug dung, leaves scattered on floor, toilet dirty and disgusting. Chairs outside very uncomfortable. I left after 2 and a half hours and booked a hotel room. I was so disappointed and will not rent one of your tents again.”
“Our stay at site F was wonderful. We stayed January 14-17. Site E is directly across from site F. We travelled with a couple who stayed at site E, but if you were not traveling with the people at that site, and planned for privacy- you wouldn’t get any- they are like 50 feet from each other with only the road in between- no trees. Which was perfect for us traveling in a group but not if you had any seclusion in mind. Site F came with everything that it was supposed to come with. It was in the 30s at night and low 50s and 40s during the day. The provided propane heater was great for those chilly nights! There were times we were actually too warm! Fire pit was nice. Had a swivel grate thing which made it easy to cook and move food off the fire when needed. The ground at our site was super duper unlevel and we couldn’t find any specifically level but we found a stone to level out the legs and the fire pit / cooking was fine. Drive to the restroom was like 1-2 minutes, easy. Restroom at the Splash pad was clean every time we entered. There were always deer. Every night we saw deer on our drive to the restroom. There were little trails around our tent that were super fun. The trailhead toward the front of the park was nice too. Highly recommend that If you are traveling as a group and require 2 tents, don’t book the double sites, book Site E and Site F. Our Camp keeper Liz was also great answering my questions before the trip!”
“Our guide, Liz, was very helpful. She had us use Site E instead of F because of a little algae. Site E had a great view too. We enjoyed our stay. It was remote and there was only one other camper so it was peaceful. We brought our kayaks and could easily walk down a path to the water and place them in. Very convenient! The bed inside the tent was super comfortable. The loo was easy to use with enough liners left over. On the other hand, the tent and site needed a little TLC. The firepit at site E was broken so we swiped it out with site F's firepit. It was a wonderful time overall and we will be back to stay at site G. This site had an even better view of the lake. Thanks!”
“1st time camper with TENTRR campsite. This was great location & had the wonderfulness of being the only camper in area. Great setup for camping! These old bones rested very well on the bed- very comfortable!”
“Everything was great! Justin, the Campkeeper, was very accommodating when we first arrived. That was a nice touch. We enjoyed the heater, fire pit that you could use as a grill and how sturdy the tent was. I would only suggest updating photos - we thought they would be a little more secluded with water front views. Other than that we will be checking out other State Parks with Tentrr!”
