“The location was gorgeous and secluded, which is exactly what wanted. We were looking for someplace to take our 15 year old and get away from light pollution to see the stars. It was a perfect site for that.
The hosts are clearly campers, because the site had exactly the things one might wish they had when camping: a station to make food; chairs to sit in; a place to use the bathroom; a bed to sleep in; a propane heater for cold nights; a few books; and lots and lots of firewood. Everything else we brought ourselves.
It really was hard to get up the hill to the site. Believe the listing :). We had two cars, and only one of us made it. I can't imagine if we had needed to haul all of things by wagon. They normally have a golf cart for those without 4WD, but it wasn't working that day. The host was amazing though, and helped us in getting our things up. We also ran out of propane after the very cold 1st night, and they brought us more.
All in all, excellent stay. We will return!”
