While the grounds are spacious and open, there is good cover to stay cool during the hottest of summer days. Sunrise to sunset great views. Hammock and other conveniences not mentioned in listing. Bruce goes above and beyond to ensure you have what you need and even will bring you to local farms, hiking trails and swimming holes, if interested. Great hospitality and communication. Thank you Bruce.

Bruce was amazing! Asked us what we were looking to do and showed us all the great local spots. Even had us follow him to some hidden gems. The site was great, benches could use some tentrr refreshing up though.

Bruce was an amazing host. He went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. He provided wood, ice and water. He even picked us up milk, bacon and eggs to save us a trip one day! Although we think the tent could have been a little cleaner inside, Bruce more than made up for it with his generosity and warmth. We felt very taken care of. We will be returning.

We had a very pleasant stay at Echo Hill, and it was a nice compliment to the 4 prior nights we'd spent tent camping at Mount Greylock campsite park. The tent & mattress were very comfortable, and it was so nice to have a space that really felt like our own private space. The tent held up very well to consistent rainstorms over the course of the day. Bruce was very helpful & accomodating, offering us water, bags of ice, firewood, etc. The bathroom was a porta potty, and my only complaint there was that the smell lingered over near our tent site on occasion. We thoroughly enjoyed nearby attractions of a hike up to Mt. Race, some incredible road biking, a (socially distant) dinner in the lively town of Great Barrington, and an awesome lunch at The Southfield Store. Another note that cell reception was very limited in the area, so be prepared with maps! Our trip was during Covid-19 times, and we felt very safe the entire trip. Would recommend!

Where do so start?! What a fantastic first Tenterr experience! We were so well taken care off- there was firewood water everything we needed. The host was LOVELY and so thoughtful! I mentioned it was my husbands birthday trip so he stopped by with cake and ice cream. We will defiantly come back soon. Can’t recommend this sight enough!

The campsite is in a beautiful area, nicely wooded with an open field right next to the tent and a marshy area nearby. It's set back from the road so it feels very private. We were the first guests of the year, and surprised Bruce with our coming, but he made up for it by bringing us everything we needed, extra wood, ice for our coolers, a grill with Charcoal, tiki torches, and a copy of the NYT on Sunday. It was nice to feel well taken care of during the pandemic. He also gave us advice on places to get food, local hikes and waterfalls nearby. Umpachene falls is beautiful and a 5 minute drive away, or a 9 minute bike ride.

Bruce's campsite, Echo Hill was totally amazing. We had a nice bonfire, a great nights sleep and then got up in the morning and went to The Southfield Store just down the way for an incredible brunch. I will definitely be back, thanks Bruce!
