Overall, we had a good experience at this site. You have to park on the side of the road and walk through the woods to get to the tent. It wasn’t too far, but slightly inconvenient for carrying stuff to the tent. You can’t see the site from the road, and we passed the sign once. The tent was pretty clean when we arrived. The firepit, table, and chairs outside were nice. Our tent didn’t have a lock or water though. It rained overnight while we were there, and no rain leaked into our tent! Tent B is near Tent A, so if you have a group, you could book those two together.

The site was great! The initial instructions we were sent via email contained two conflicting descriptions of where the sites were and how to park there. This is the only reason for my star reduction!

The site is amazing, albeit a little cramped/small. The area and park are beautiful and offer a lot of options for daily activities and sights. TENTRR, on the other hand, is average at best. The service, while brilliant in concept, falls short in practice. The only time we could contact TENTRR or our "camp host" was weeks before arriving. Thus, no check-in/check-out, no info on water carriers, water location or where to drop off our trash at the end of the trip. We had a hard time changing to SITE A from SITE B after a poor review was posted, it took us nearly two weeks to get it canceled, refunded and then rebooked. The process was so convoluted that we were sent an email to review both sites, despite only staying at SITE A. Showing TENTRR's weaknesses are point of contact, communication and customer service. Again, the site was adequate, the idea is a good one, but the lack of contact and communication made it hard to know where to park, how to find the site and where to find provisions/resources included in the service. SITE B was maybe 50 yards from SITE A, which was okay since it was unoccupied. If it had been reserved, it likely would've made the experience a poor one, as mentioned by previous campers. There was trash on our site when we arrived, there was trash in the can and the camp kitchen was filled with moldy paper towels from a previous guest. SITE B had even more trash, a beer can in the fire ring and lots of litter throughout. Luckily, we did not stay there, but we made an effort to clean our site and around the area before leaving, despite not being the people that made the mess. *In addition, the tent itself was in fair condition, but it had a strange odor. Not musty, as one might expect an outfitter's tent to be. I had a stuffed up nose almost immediately upon entrance and both my partner and myself noticed a menthol-like odor in our noses and a minty taste in our mouths while in the tent at night. Not sure what was causing this, but it was likely the tent or something the canvas was treated with. I cannot recommend this experience to anyone expecting it to be easy and convenient. I am an avid camper and hiker, so I can adapt and roll with the punches... However, for hotel like fees, one should not be expected to adapt or compromise. In my opinion TENTRR is a perfect example of an idea being amazing, until it is put into practice.

The location is awesome. Very secluded from the rest of the park but only 3 minutes from the store and all the trail heads. Felt safe, felt warm and slept very well. The only thing is there us site B past site A and the trail to site B goes right behind site A. Kind if takes away from the privacy aspect of the get away, but it was an amazing stay and ee woukd definitely use a TENTR again! Maybe just rent out site A and B if you want complete privacy

Tenting site very nice. Email location information was conflicting. One email correct and the other off by several miles. Called customs service and the lady steered me towards the right location. Tent has large flat floor and enough height to easily stand. Brought my wife and two young granddaughters. We all enjoyed the solitude. Would I do a Tentrr again? For sure!

twas lovely and comfy. The mattress was covered in doggy footprints, but luckily we brought sheets. would have been nice if the camp furniture had been leveled, but the gear and fire pit were all great.

We actually ended up at Site E, for various reasons. The sites are lovely and mostly very separated from each other, so you truly feel alone in the woods. The hike in was not far, but was quite steep, resulting in much more work loading in and out than we had initially planned for. Be advised, short trips might not be the best choice, but we would choose Tentrr again for a longer camp!

Had a really nice two-nigjt stay. However, there was no indication that it was a quarter mile hike into the site and that the advertised bathroom facility was inside the tent. Regardless, it was a good experience.
