“We loved this private little camp! You feel secluded and surrounded by the forest without much of a trek. The area surrounding camp is great to wander through as long as your are vigilant about checking for ticks! We went to Onteora lake in the bluestone wilderness which is a quick 15 min drive and has perfect established trails as well as picnic areas and lake use. One note is that the bed is loud! Obviously air mattresses are always a bit loud but I think because it’s on the canvas platform bed it’s extra loud. I’d suggest ear plugs if you aren’t a super heavy sleeper or don’t move at all.”
“Really private and nice space. We loved being tucked out into the woods and there were plenty of supplies in the camp for making meals. We had an amazing time! Even if it was the coldest day of the year.”
“My wife and I had a fantastic time at AnuLife! The campsite was as described, isolated, but not too far out there, clean, and peaceful. We appreciated access to the bathroom in the main house on the property, and the host even provided us with a breakfast made from his own chicken's eggs! This was a perfect base from which to explore the mid Hudson valley, and we would stay there again in a heartbeat.”
“I couldn't be happier with my experience at Camp Anulife. Our CampKeeper Howard was so helpful and generous, and made our stay so comfortable that we almost didn't want to leave. The water jug inside the tent as well as the hammock (with hooks to lay in it either inside the tent or outside) made for this experience to be even more luxurious than I imagined it would be. Additionally, Howard also allows his campers to use a separate indoor shower/restroom a few steps away from the Tentrr site, which is fantastic if you prefer a proper sink! He and his family have so many plans to make the site even more unique, so without giving anything away, I would recommend checking out the Extras or checking back soon to find out about those...Thank you Howard and Tentrr for everything, I definitely will be back to this site!”
