“Had a wonderful time! I took my wife and our 22 month old and it’s a trip we won’t soon forget! Our hosts Gini and Kelly made us feel completely at home. They made such an effort to accommodate our last minute reservation change to include the treehouse . They even hooked us up with fresh eggs from their chickens. The campsite was set up perfectly. The outhouse was A+ They really do have everything you’ll need. You really only need to pack clothes and food. The whole experience was top notch it’ll be hard to top this trip. The creek and the dogs dropping by were added bonuses
Side note if you’re lucky enough to be there on a Saturday be sure to stop by the local farmers markets but make sure you bring cash with you”
“This was the BEST camping experience ever. Absolutely amazing. Conowingo Creek Campsite has everything you need already there - chairs for the creek, lanterns, sprays, a camping stove and coffee cups - literally everything. The hosts want to make sure you are as taken care of as possible. Even the fresh drinking water provided was so nice. Be sure to get their fresh eggs (my 5 yo got to help feed the chickens and gather the eggs too!).
What else can I add - the walking trails are just perfect, the creek is fun to walk in and relax in the hammock after, love all the lanterns throughout the property, the doggies coming to visit was a big highlight, the sunsets were gorgeous over the farmland, and they even had fresh whoopie pies when we checked in.
We had the pleasure of taking advantage of Gini's photography add on - having gone for mothers day with my mom & daughter it was a lovely memory on top of everything else. It was so spectacular Thank you for being a fantastic host I WILL BE BACK!”
“Absolutely perfect! The site itself is beautiful and immaculate! From the wine bottle lamps attached to the trees along the wood chip path to the campsite, to the beautiful plant life surrounding the site, to the big comfy bed in the big canvas tent, to the rich green grass trails leading to the pristine creek overlooking beautiful farmland, where a hammock and tiki torches along the creekside awaits, to relax and fish the stocked creek. This place is a perfect getaway! The hosts are so friendly and accommodating and have thought of everything! I cannot emphasize enough how perfect this place is! Worth every penny! We will definitely be back again!”
“We wanted an easy getaway from the city and this was the perfect spot. The hosts stock the site full of everything you need—plenty of pre chopped wood and sticks for a fire, utensils and pot and pans for cooking, tiki torches and lanterns everywhere, etc. The tent itself is very spacious and the bed was comfortable. Would recommend and would come back!”
“This was a great weekend getaway to celebrate my Birthday. Everything was just as we expected if not better! Even though the temps were a bit cooler than we anticipated the host was more than prepared. Heating sources for the tent’s and plenty of cozy warm blankets, along with plenty of wood to keep our fire going!
My daughter’s enjoyed their stay in the tree house. (An add on) very cool if you have children.
We had the pleasure of meeting one of our host (Kelly) he was very helpful, responsive and a pleasure to meet. We are looking forward to hopefully returning next year during the warmer months. Book now you won’t regret!!”
