We absolutely loved it! It was just what we needed to get out of the city. The lake view is soo charming. We will be back with family. We got in after 5pm (I don’t recommend) we had to find our way around to get to the tents

The park manager was profiling. it was rude of her to question us as if we didn't belong upon arriving and then our guests after being set up next to us. She not once welcomed us after we explained that we had a reservation and the unit letter. Perhaps the check in post should be open later if she's going to ride around and treat guests in that manner. Shame on her.

Hi Donna, Thank you for the honest feedback. We actively looking into this as this experience does not accurately portray the service Tentrr strives to provide or the experience we want our campers to have at our campsites. Tentrr wants everyone to feel welcome and comfortable using our campsites. Please contact us at hello@tentrr.com with more details about this experience so we can look into this. Again, we sincerely apologize but hope you will give Tentrr another shot in the future! Cheers, The Tentrr Team

The location was great. amazing view of the lake while still being in the woods. Fred the grounds keeper was super helpful and informative. Absolutely nice to have him greet us and give us the down-low on local and park activities. Will be coming back!

First, let me start by saying our guide, Fred, was absolutely phenomenal. He really went above and beyond to answer our questions, help when he can, and offered advice. Really a stand-up guy and super nice. He was the light in all this. He was extremely genuine, and sincerely enjoyed helping people. Now, the actual site had a lot to be improved upon. We had small children in our group, and a fence had fallen some time ago which was a hazard and left the cliff near our site open. The bathrooms were not very clean, constantly ran out of paper, and trash was overflowing. The pool looked as if it hadn't been open in years (one of the reasons we picked this state park). Several groups of people walked straight through our campsite to get to the water, at all hours of the day. There was not much privacy. The roads on the state park had so many potholes and were not maintained, same with the trails. The wood was broken, and several areas were straight mud. We were told that a 5-gallon jug of water would be provided, and wood could be purchased on site. Neither of which were true. There were also extremely loud, unruly guests very close to our site that were loud at all hours of the night. I know nothing can be done about the quality of guests, but some rangers or someone should have been there to enforce the rules. These same groups had extension cords across the walkways of the bathrooms and smoked in the bathrooms. The issues we had were with the facilities at the state park. We would have liked to know in advance that the pool, trails, and tennis courts were not available for use so that we could have planned other activities to do while we were there.

Amazing experience. Loved the tent site on the lake. Very comfortable bedding and very spacious. We will be doing this again and trying out other locations.
