“What a beautiful campsite! Really blew our expectations out of the water. We booked last minute after other plans fell through and we are so grateful for the snafu that brought us to Mark's gorgeous property. The camp host is a very cool guy. Extremely knowledgeable about all the native plant species (among other things!) and runs a beautiful and very nature preserve-quality nursery on the property... though you would never be able to tell as there isn't a pot in sight! It really does feel like you're camping in a nature preserve. The actual site is just minutes away from Reid State park and some of the best seafood around. Will absolutely be booking again when the leaves start to change. This is our new favorite campsite and are looking so forward to spending quality family time there again with our new friend, Mark.”
“Wow! Could not have asked for more. The sites at Wildwalkways are all completely beautiful, peaceful and impeccably maintained, but I think ours at Morning Mist was the jewel. Peaceful site in a clearing near a pond with the sound of a stream trickling nearby.
Toilet was pristine, convenient and unobtrusive to the environment.
Although the paths around Wildwalkways are definitely buggy in the summer, there were no biting bugs around the campsite, they seemed to stop at the border.
Mark is the perfect host, friendly and helpful but not intrusive in any way. He offered helpful information by text throughout our stay, but didn't bother us or get in our way. When we needed recommendations or help, he was quick to reply. We will certainly return to this site!”
