“To start with, Bob and Astrid are GREAT hosts. They are very responsive, nice, and available for anything you need. Also, their site is very well set up. The place had great amenities that you don't expect from a campsite. It was a very cozy setup.
Now to talk about the adventure! To get in you need to drive over a path that is offroading. I recommend you have a taller car to avoid scratching your undercarriage. Then, onsite I saw fresh bear scat and even some animal bones. Overnight I heard some wild animal sounds including owls, a coyote pack and even some lynx (among others I couldn't identify)!
Something to note, the pictures of running water are a nice little hike away. There are lots of trails for you to explore when here! Having said that, this site is near a beaver dam (thus the name) and therefore has stagnant water. This is pretty, but does mean you will want lots of bug spray!”
“We actually stayed at the bubbling brook location further into the woods and it was absolutely delightful. We spent a weekend hiking, fishing, eating and relaxing. It was truly a breathtaking escape!! Astrid and her husband were very accommodating and so sweet, we’re eager to go back and try the other location.”

“A beautiful view, very secluded, with lots of shade and beautiful greenery. I took my two dogs, and they had a blast. They played in the brook (which is very calm and not too deep). Wonderful tent and set up inside the tent! Absolutely perfect for anyone looking to get away alone or with a friend/significant other!”
