This location is amazing. The pictures on the listing REALLY don't do it justice. The site is in a very private and quiet location, in a quiet little cove on a beautiful, calm lake. The hike in does involve a pretty steep hill, so you will get your exercise in on your load in/out. The host is very friendly and great about communicating if anything comes up. We had some less than ideal weather but we still made the best of our stay and we look forward to doing it again. Don't hesitate to book this, you won't be disappointed!

Such a special spot! Prettier than I had imagined- loved being able to take out kayak and explore the beautiful pond. Very quiet (midweek). My 1st Tentr experience, so others will already know the drill that have used before. Trail very easy to see- I came in at night with headlamp. No problem. Matthew easy to communicate with. AirBnb had not mentioned that you need to bring own linens, towel, but Matthew sent info before I arrived. Definitely recommend this place!

This site is right on the lake and kayaking is a great way to see around. Water was pleasantly warm for swimming, too. The site is in a pine forest with a soft and thick floor of pine needles. Beautiful setting. A short walk out to watch the sun setting over the opposite shore is a good way to end the day. This site is also within easy driving distance of groceries and multiple recreational possibilities, especially for hiking or biking.

Matt has one of the best campgrounds that I have stayed. Everything was advertised, the lake was clean and beautiful, and Matt himself is kind and helpful!

We had a marvelous stay! Very private feeling campsite, and we really enjoyed sitting by the campfire at nights. There was a great amount of downed wood for fire use. During the day, the kayaks were a fun time for exploring around the pond. It wasnt too buggy either! Matt was very friendly and helpful, making sure we were all set and had enough water. Cant wait to come back!

We had a lovely, albeit too short of a stay here. The lake was magical for swimming & it felt very private- only spotted a couple of kayakers (we stayed in the middle of the week though so not sure what the boating action is on the weekends). The camp and amenities were pristine and we happily took full advantage of the kayaks- which really made the stay here special. We hope to return again- though would definitely plan a longer stay.

What a secret escape .. one of the lucky first campers. The walk from the car to the site (10 mins) is well worth it! Perfect spot on the lake. Kids enjoyed fishing, swimming and kayaks (great addition). Matthew always quick to respond to any queries and helped get out of a bind when the car battery went flat in rural NH
