“A perfectly private and relaxing campsite! The host met me at the front of her family farm when I arrived and led me back to the campsite with her children and farm dogs in tow. The campsite is set back far enough from the farm that it feels totally private. Firewood was ready for us and the host had pillows, blankets, and more already set up in the tent. While surrounded by a tree-line, the campsite had a nice large clearing for driving through and letting my dogs sniff around. Since its set so far back, I was able to hike around a bit with my dogs without getting all that close to the farm as well. The host did warn me about the area having abundant wildlife, so its a great spot for an immersive nature experience, although I did not encounter any wildlife or hear much at night (my dogs may have scared everything away). A bonus was definitely seeing all the farm animals on my way out!”
“Kat and her family were great hosts. The site was private and clean and they happily provided me with whatever I needed. The homestead was so much fun to walk around and look at all the animals. There were also a lot of trails to explore and they provided plenty of firewood. I stayed in February and they provided a heater for the tent for me as well. Overall, it was a great experience and exactly what I needed to get away for a couple days. I would definitely go back!”
