“Stayed over the weekend with my son and his family. We had a wonderful experience. The tents are right on the lake where we could swim. When we got there Tanna had already set up everything for us. No parking right at the site but parking was not far away. The Park does allow you to park close and unload. Their was a pier close to the site. It was close to the the bathroom and bath houses. Lake Claiborne State Park is a very nice camp ground. Tanna was able to answer questions either by text or phone call. Couldn't have asked for better. No electricity or water but they do provide you water coolers. The grill was a camp fire grill so if you prefer something different bring you own portable grill. All in all I would recommend for the true camping experience with a little glam. And the beds were comfortable in the tents. They have heaters if you are cold natured. We set up one of the 6 person tents and the assembly was easy.”
“The site and the campground are amazing. However, the site is set up on a hill l and there are no steps up onto the porch. We had to use one of the benches as a step and it was really unstable, but my son couldn't get into the tent without it. Also, the table and the dry box were in the tent which was ok, but because of the porch we couldn't get it out to use. Overall we loved it and would certainly come again but steps would be a huge improvement.”
