“The spot is nice and secluded. The only down fall is the hike to the tent. It is a inclined 10 min hike. No ATV on trail to the tent. I would recommend packing way light. You are looking over the lake but are not close to the lake, you will have to hike the trail down to the lake. The park itself is nice and quiet, super clean. The trails you can ride ATVs on are beautiful. They have water, a portable toilet, tent, comfortable bed, and picnic table that was available to us. There was room for more tents if you had additional campers.”
“Absolutely not worth the lake view. Unless you enjoy carrying all your camp gear, and I mean EVERYTHING on a wildly frustrating 20 minute walk on a sandy road back and forth. Absolutely no basics are covered, you have to bring your bedding, toilet paper, pots, drinking water and shower water, firewood, all for an overpriced tent that doesn’t fully close, has carpenter ants in the wood floor that is raised and cracked enough just to give all insects access to where you sleep. Completely not worth the price, unless you like splinter inducing chairs and toilet seats”
“The views are beautiful, but no access to the water. The beach is not nice. Reaching the tentrr was difficult. More like a 20 min walk ,walking like in a sand dune. So pack very light. Not suitable for old people or toddlers.”
