“The property is so beautiful, especially with the fall foliage. We enjoyed the views of the lake and mountains beyond while relaxing by the campfire. The property owners were very welcoming and gave us a tour of the farm and a meet and greet with their alpacas upon arrival. A 10/10 first Tentrr experience, we will definitely be back!”
“I would highly recommend this site. The host, James, was very welcoming and helped us out with anything we needed. The views from the site were even better than the photos. The site feels very private even though the house is not very far away. There is nice walk down to a small beach and the town of Laconia is only a short drive away.”
“This was our first time renting, and just about everything was perfect. There's a pristine, itty bitty town beach 5 minutes away! Also, the frogs, alpacas, and distant howling coyotes (?) were pretty cool. However, the handle on the sun shower was broken, so there wasn't a good way to hang it. It was thoughtful to see a can of insecticide in the tent, but my daughter was in a "respect nature/life" mode. The end result was catch and releasing about 10-12 spiders (1.5-2 inches big) -- not sure if that's normal for early Sept. or what.”
“James was a great host. We opted for the tour he spent a lot of time with us showing us a grand tour of the property and then even provided us with a refreshment!
The site was really peaceful and a short walk from a public beautiful public beach.”
“Lovely location. Beautiful and very private. Campsite has everything you need. My only small complaint is that the tent is not rainproof. It leaks on the sides, onto the top bunk from the roof, and through the hole around chimney (which made making a fire inside pretty impossible). We cut our trip a day short due to rain. I would go back during good weather.”
“We had a great time! Campsite just as advertised. Lovely property, secluded yet close to all services. Walking distance to a nice beach on the lake. James was wonderful, we enjoyed his tour around the farm and we got to hand pick fresh eggs, delicious!”
