How tall is this tent?? If you've been looking at this tent online, you might have noticed that the spec is inconsistent across the internet. The image says it's 110cm tall, the spec listing says it's 100cm, and the box actually lists it as 117cm tall! Which is correct?? Well, I'm writing this review to let you know I measured it! The tent has a gear loft. The height from the ground to the gear loft (when installed, very easy to remove) is 100cm. Without the gear loft, from the floor to the bottom edge of the inner seam, head height is 110cm. External height of the tent is 117cm. So, all the measurements listed are correct - but now you know what they mean!! Ultimately, head room is ample and even tall people can sit comfortably inside the tent, which is great cos it was a key thing I was looking for. It's easy to put up on your own, and easy to fit back into its bag. The doors are really big, and there are several internal pockets. I'm really happy with it.

This is a good sterdy strong hiking tent. I found it to be a squeeze for my partner and i on hiking trips. Then again it could of been becaase we bought the sea to summit reg wide indulated mats. Would prefer the head area walls to be boxed but it does touch your head which is annoying. We ended up buying the nemo aurora 3p tent not only lighter but much more room. We will keep the companion pro to take on single hikes

I needed a truly waterproof tent so i tested it in 5 days of constant rain over Christmas. It held up excellently, even with pooling water under the base. The tent is a little heavy but otherwise really pleased.

Love my new Companion Pro Hiker 2. I have only used it once on a hike with a woman’s adventure group, four other ladies had the same tent, and one was especially raving about it who was a regular hiker so felt pretty great about my purchase. Our overnight hike was about four hours walking each day and for an entry level tent and short hike the weight was fine for that. Putting it up is so simple and takes about five minutes. Love the two doors and extra vestibule space for items to be kept undercover. It was perfect weather so can’t comment on rain or wind. I would happily recommend this tent especially if you are putting up your tent every night in a new location. Ordering and delivery from Tentworld was super quick and easy. Very happy customer!

I have used the Pro hiker 2 hiking tent 4-5 times so far. Although I'm not very sure how long the mesh flaps are going to last, I am really happy with the overall performance of the tent. It was surprisingly good during the 3-4 days of continuous heavy rain last summer in Wilsons Prom (the gazebo overhead helped; but one side of the tent was completely exposed to the rain). Definitely not for very cold weather unless you have really good sleeping bags. I would highly recommend it, especially for a beginner.

This tent was a gift for a grandchild for a birthday. He has previously used a borrowed Pro Hiker 1 for school hikes and was happy with the ease of putting it up. The new Pro Hiker 2 was put up within 8 minutes on his own and he was amazed at how much extra room it had. Extremely happy 13 year old.
