With the CoolFreeze CF-18, Dometic Waeco has successfully designed a truly portable cooler/freezer. A flyweight when compared with other compressor coolers, and convenient to transport with the sturdy carrying handle, this compressor is a heavyweight champion in terms of performance. Due to the reinforced insulation, the running times are significantly reduced, which is why the CF-18 is aptly referred to as the energy saver.

A great little product, drags 3 amps on low only fault is the catch, mine hasn't failed yet, could be a bit lighter for people with disabilities. Its a great size but I wouldn't buy any smaller, on trips I use my 40 L sometimes in summer I take both leave the 18 L in the car & the 40 L plugged in where I am staying.

Have owned mine for 7 years and is running beautifully. Will freeze if required very quickly and for big travel days minimum power is required. The catch has failed for a second time and $14 for part but $16 for freight makes it a dear part.
