“Battery was fully flat but got that sorted. Had a mate who had one and it's really useful on our mtb tour, much better than walking around with headtorch around the campsite. Less chance of losing something if you drop it!”

“Pluses: The design is nice and product is quite versatile. Eg. you could chuck the little powerpack in your handbag to recharge a mobile phone. You could use just the little torch on the powerpack inside the translucent bag for a nightlight. You can also plug in the light strip to any power bank with a USB port. The rolled-up strip of lights in the bag makes an attractive lamp you can read by. The light strip has magnets on it which handily stick to a steel tent pole. Cons: disappointingly it’s not fully waterproof, only the light strip is. If using outside, you’ll have to ensure the end with the power bank is protected from the wet night air. How useful it is will depend on the individual camper’s set up. Originally, I bought it to drape it over the roof of my tent but now I’m not sure I will end up using it outside at all. The push-in “on” switch on the power bank is stupidly tiny.”
