The HOTTAP OUTING is a complete hot water system for off-grid use, including the legendary HOTTAP as well as the rugged 12V FLOTAP6 pump with all power connections and water inlet hoses! Connects In Seconds Don't have plumbers and electricians crawl under your bonnet to the tune of $$$$. With the HOTTAP Outing, you're connected in seconds without any professional help. Quick connect water in, water and gas. With colour-coded snap-on fittings, you simply cannot go wrong. Safe LPG Quick-Connection With the included GASKNECT couple set you will be able to quick connect/disconnect your gas hose to/from your HOTTAP Outing without worrying about leaks or tighening the thread. Accepts Water From Any Source Forget fragile inbuilt pumps; the durable HOTTAP accepts water from any source. When you've got water on tap, just plug it in. And when you're off-grid, use the included FLOTAP 12v pump to draw water from a creek or lake. Self-Primes Up To 1.8m The powerful FLOTAP pump selfprimes with water to a height (head) of up to 1.8m from the source - and can push up to 30m up a slope. Perfect for pumping directly from a creek or lake. Runs Dry Without Damage If you're pumping water from a bucket or reservior, chances are that you'll empty it. But not to worry; the FLOTAP won't be damaged by running dry. Includes 12V Power Leads and Suction Filter Using the safe power leads, you easily connect the FLOTAP pump directly to the car battery or lighter port. The cleanable suction filter will ensure you keep debris out. One-Touch Operation No launch sequence required. Simply flick the switch on the shower handle, and the hot water starts flowing. Flick it again - yes, that's right; the water turns off. Built For The Bush Our engineers have done away with delicate technology such as fan-forced combustion and inbuilt pumps and batteries. The only moving part has been tested to 15,000 cycles, or 41 years of daily showers. Powerful Heat Capacity Care to heat and then reheat water before reaching maximum temperature? Thought not. As opposed to other systems, your HOTTAP's 27000BTU burner will instantly give you a steaming shower at the flick of a switch. Superior Water Flow HOTTAP gives you a water flow of up to 6L/min, which is to be compared to the maximum of less than 4.5L/ min of weaker all-in-one designs. Total Control Choose your temperature by adjusting the gas and water controls. What's more, the Joolca shower rose features three spraypattern settings. These includes a pressure nozzle, allowing to your easy rinse out shampoo or wash greasy pans. Extra Long, 5M, 816kpa, UV-Treated Shower Hose The extra length will come in handy. Fitted with a colour-coded, snap-on fitting - you can rely on having years of use even in the harsh Aussie sunlight and easy setup without risking any pesky leaks. Backlit LED Information The backlit LED display will show you the exact degrees of hot water, useful for setting your shower temperature and safely washing your pets. The built-in battery indicator will let you know in advice if the D-cell batteries are running low. Safe For Family and Pets The internal micro-processor of your HOTTAP prevents the water temperature from going above +50°C, protecting family and pets (including 550-kg stallions) from scalds, and gas flow is automatically cut off on flame failure. Class-Leading Portability The world's smallest LPG water heater in its class, the HOTTAP weighs only 4.5kg - about as much as two large bottles of milk. Featuring a convenient carry handle and optional mounting brackets, you can easily set it up anywhere you set down your gas cylinder. Uses Standard LPG Bottles Why buy expensive disposable LPG bottles with limited use? Just connect your HOTTAP to your main BBQ or camping kitchen LPG bottle, and you can shower till the cows come home, go out and come home again (a standard 9kg gas bottle will provide 15 hours of showers at maximum heat; don't blame us for raisin fingers).

Simply awesome. Washing dust n sweat off at the end of the day makes your camp so much more enjoyable. Quality build and design. Assembly is straight forward, provided you read the instructions. The company also has a video online you can check out which gives you the basics. Don't forget to go by the instructions and you can't go wrong. Simple mistake I made...not enough water pressure to power the unit. Fix was to use the pump. (powered by 12v)

The best portable hot water system we have had. Turning on the water and pilot flame at the shower head is brilliant. Excellent flow of water and the temperature control is easy to operate. Having the pump external to the water source is a great idea. The unit runs off DC battery power. Having an AC power connection option would be the only improvement I would make. Thank you Joolca!

I bought this kit three years ago, and can't rate this highly enough. When we go up to the Vic high country in the camper trailer, I set this up next to the shower tent and run a long hose into the river. We then have endless hot showers. It would have to be one of the best camping accessories I have purchased, and have been swag, tent and camper trailer camping for over 40 years. I looked at all the other units (all Chinese), but this is (3 years ago) the most compact unit by far. I'm a big fan of buying Australian, but won't throw my money away. This was a GREAT investment. It has never caused me any issues. Support is also a phone call away, and I didn't want to chance that with a unit built overseas. With a wife and a 7 year old son, it is great to be able to wash off the dust, grass and campfire smells before hitting the sack at the end of the day. It's also great for filling up the sink with hot water for the dishes, rather than boiling the kettle. Yes, it is a bit expensive. But it is a high quality unit and has never let us down. If it died tomorrow (I don't expect it to die for a LOOONG time), I would buy another one in a heartbeat.

I brought this for both work and holidays in our camper. Work involves going away for up to 5 days with no facilities and 2 of us. This will come in real handy as we carry 700 litres of water but no way of heating it for showers. Before buying online I went into the local Tentworld and was givin a demo of them. Left impressed.

The Hottap Outing had me amazed, the water pressure was perfect, once the temperature was set it was great to just be able to turn the shower on and off without wasting water to get the temperature right! The whole set up works really well and it doesn't take long for the water to heat up. I've noticed that the 'Hottap' uses water quickly due to the impressive flow rate but then I'm still fine tuning the flow rate. Other than that I'm really happy with this purchase, worth it.

Opened the box pulled unit out it noticed hot water outlet bent. Thought about sending it back but didn't hooked it up seemed to work fine' Over all happy with it but just a little over priced for what it is. Seen other ones at camping shows for half the price'
