I have just taken the tent on a 2 week trip to Malta and Sicily where the nights are warm and humid with high risk of sand fly diseases (namely Leishmaniasis). The tent was fantastic, only took up 1.9kg in luggage, was easy to set up and spacious for one person. I used it on balconies and rooftops thanks to its free standing design and the two large doors made it very versatile. It would be nicer if it was a bit lighter but so far no issues with it and the No-See-Um mesh kept the sandflies and mozzies out nicely. Would be handy to have in the back of the car for when you want to take a nap under a tree next to a river on your long drives.

Seems good quality. Poles are quite heavy, might replace with lightweight alloy one eventually but for the price it's about what I expected.

My go to mossie dome. Swags with poles, screens, flaps etc are pointless. When there are no flies, and it's cold, use a swag. When it's hot, put it in a mozzie some like this that takes less than 5 min to pitch. The space that gives you breeze, a good view of the stars and the ability to lie there with no cover but a big, mossie free, cool space when it's 30+ at midnight, is gold. Get the fly if you think it might rain. The best solution compared to all those pointlessly intricate sophisticated swags.
