In 1969, Seattle engineer and lifelong mountaineer Larry Penberthy formed Mountain Safety Research as a one-man crusade dedicated to improving the safety of climbing equipment. The MSR fuel bottles are designed specifically to accept the threads on MSR fuel pumps and to easily handle the pressurization you need to efficiently operate our liquid fuel stoves. They are a thick wall aluminium bottle with a no-spill pour spout/cap. The cap/spout allows for precision pouring and no-leak sealing.
