This is a quality addition to my Bartok - crisp timing improvements being the most noteworthy. Build like a tank as well - excellent

I find the Rossini clock is a “ must “ , totally worthwhile upgrade to the dCS Rossini player and my previously owned Bartok. Although it is expensive, it lifts the performance notch to another level. Tracks sound more alive, dynamic, real and especially for me stripped back acoustic material is simply mind blowing, with it’s addition. Jack, many thanks to the Audiobarn!

I bought the Rossini Clock to partner a Rossini DAC. Although I would have liked not to spend the extra money on top of the cost of the DAC, the improvement that the clock makes to the performance of the Rossini DAC is obvious to hear, and hard to live without once heard.

I started off with the Bartok and was very happy with the sound; but you know how it is in this game and my research (and talking to Jack) quickly led me to looking into the Rossini Clock as another step forward in sound quality. I know there are those that say go for the Rossini DAC, but I already had a Bartok (with headphone amp) and moving to a Rossini would mean a decent amp and XLR cables and it gets expensive if you do it right. So i took the plunge and ordered the Rossini clock... Well what can I say, the wait was worth it :) Sound becomes a little richer and more alive when the clock is on. Nice thing is you can just turn the clock off during a track, slight pause, then the internal clock takes over and you can hear the change in sound. Noticeable, definitely, worth it, well you wouldn't want to hand the clock back. I need to spend more time listening to a variety of music; but the vocals on the latest London Grammar album sounded superb; became richer and then when the clock was turned off, seemed to sound a little flat and lose the deepness and resonance. Same could be heard with the latest Gregory Porter album. So I am very happy with the Rossini Clock its quick and easy to hear the improvements. Drop by the showroom and listen for yourself.
