“The Prima Luna Evo200 is the first valve amplifier I have owned and was a little apprehensive before auditioning one to which I needn’t have been, deciding to purchase during the pandemic lockdown Jack @ The Audiobarn was kin’s enough to loan me a unit which was just sublime. There is simply a warmth with valves that isn’t present with solid state. All the reviews of Prima Luna amplifiers are very good so it made sense to look at these and I’m so glad I did. It’s recommended to allow upto 100 hours for this amplifier to burn in however I’ve found the sound continues to improve well into nearly 200 hours and although out the box the sound is very pleasing it just continues to improve this partnered with the wonderful light show you are treated to especially at night just makes the pleasure of owning the amplifier a fantastic experience. Well done Prima Luna, a quality piece of equipment.”
