“The sound quality coming from these speakers is excellent. We use them for a wide variety of musical genres and in all cases you can hear the depth combined with excellent clarity. This is retained even when pushed to higher volumes. Used in a relatively small room fed via a Naim Atom, streaming has for us been taken to the next level.”

“I've had the Special Forty's up and running for about 3 weeks now and I can't believe that the sound I'm getting out of them is coming from what is a relatively speaking small speaker. They aren't even on proper stands - I've got them on a pair of tall bookcases - which I know isn't ideal but due to lack of space I have no choice. Lots of detail and deep bass makes for a relaxing listen. The ultimate accolade came from the trouble and strife, who totally unprompted told me she thought they sounded better than the Kef speakers they replaced.”
