“When I asked Jack a while back how I could improve my ATC system the obvious answer was to use better cables. What was less obvious to me at the time was which cables to change first. Jack's advice was to try the power cables first. I was sceptical. I had already tried Ecosse Orange but with little effect. Jack suggested Shunyata and, after recovering from learning the price (I had heard about the benefits of separate power supplies - but that must be the magic in the box! - but a bit of cable?), we agreed I should try out the Delta. I am now a convert. Good power cables can give you better control of power and dynamics but also resolution of detail. The Venom V10 XC is the latest addition feeding a JL Audio sub. Since I first discovered Audiobarn I have always gone back there. Jack gives great advice and lets you find what works for you rather than pushing the flavour of the month.”
