“These headphones are extremely comfortable, even when wearing them for several hours. I think the sound they produce is excellent. I am able to hear all the different instruments used when playing music by groups and when listening to classical music it is almost like being in a concert hall.”

“I first demoed some mid priced headphones which were really good, then just to hear what a high end headphone would sound like, I tried a pair of Focal Utopia new edition not thinking they'd be significantly better, how wrong was I. I can honestly say I haven't heard music sound so good and then when you start using a good headphone amplifier it gets better still. I bought the Focal Utopias without hesitation, they are worth every penny, I could never afford a speaker system that sounded that good.”

“Initially auditioned the 1st generation Utopia and was very impressed but by the time the purchase decision arrived these had been replaced by the Utopia 2022 model. Whilst at first hesitant wrt the increased cost, a further audition removed any remaining doubts - these are quite simply stunning, a headphone par excellence. If within your budget, even at a tight squeeze, do not hesitate, the Utopia 2022’s are the very best headphones I have ever listened to, period! As usual Jack and the Audiobarn team provided superlative support including a home trial and sound advice in a pressure-free environment focused on the customer at all times.”

“I went with the 2022 model because it just sounded good to my ears and I found it to be smooth detailed and pleasing with a wider variety of music including poor recordings. It's fast, dynamic and very musical. It pairs well with my slightly warm Violectric V550 and neutral RME DAC. It's also nice to look at. The overall black design with a hint of red coming through the grill in the centre works well in my opinion.”

“The Audiobarn have been fantastic. I can't rate them highly enough. An amazing store, with great advise and no pushy sales. Whilst they are not close to my location I will still be going back to them for any future purchases. The Focal Utopia are absolutely amazing. Certainly up there with the LCD 5s.”
