I thought my previous amplifier was good but, in comparison, the NAIM is almost perfect. It gives me clear sound and good separates the various instruments on the music I play. It makes my DALI Rubicon speakers sound ten times better. '

I recently replaced my 2021 Nap 250 dr with the new nap 250. The new Nap 250 is quite stunning. Its bass control is truly amazing, a great buy.

Such a step up from my all in one Naim Uniti Star. Greater clarity, more detail, a little punchier than the Star... absolutely love my new set up.

Purchased as an upgrade from the previous generation NAP 250 DR, the NAP 250 delivers a more detailed, rhythmic performance than its predecessor together with a 25% hike in output power should it be desired. Fully integrated with its 200 Series source components, the NAP 250 is a vibrant successor to Naim's longstanding 250 heritage.

Compared with our excellent Naim NAP 250 DR we thought that the New Classic NAP 250 power amplifier had a more open sound, better bass control and generally an improved grip on our ATC SCM19 speakers. We also especially appreciated the improved sound quality at evening-time lower volume levels. Apple AirPlay support and the low quiescent power consumption in standby mode were welcome considerations too. We were very pleased to invest in a New Classic NAP 250 which looks very smart together with the rest of our New Classic system units.

I bought the NAP 250 to replace a NAP 250DR, and took the opportunity to also replace my NAC 272 with a NSC 222. The NSC 222 is powered by a Naim 555PS DR. Because I have only listened to the amp as a complete system my impressions are of the whole rather than just the NAP. What I can say is that the improvement over my older equipment is quite remarkable. In brief, music has better clarity and definition. Bass seems to be just as deep, but tighter with greater attack. I can heartily recommend the NAP 250 and NSC 222. My only proviso would be that the included XLR cables are not up to the standard of the amp itself, and I will be looking to a replacement in due course.

They say it is the best 250 they've ever made... I believe it!

Bought as part of an evolutionary step within an existing Naim system. Worked directly with Graeme and Jack at The Audiobarn to discuss plans and evaluate various options. They were exceptional throughout, providing guidance and support and getting me up and running with my new setup based on a repurposed Linn Selekt DSM and the new NAP 250. The setup was simple after a short instruction provided by Graeme at their store and the results, even out of the box, are nothing short of jaw-dropping. Safe to say the result has exceeded my expectations and I look forwards to working further with the team at The Audiobarn as my new system evolves.
