Added to an existing 200 Series NAP250 and replacing a Linn Selekt DSM. Even from new the system synergy was obvious and whilst the Selekt worked well with the NAP250 it lacked a little engagement and drive. That is present in abundance with the MSC 222 and with the added benefits of very capable MM phono input and headphone support. Jack and the team at The Audiobarn are truly second to none and once again see me returning for more upgrades.

Very easy to set up with the NAP 250, and I like the way both components can be powered on/off using just a single remote. Found my home network instantly and the build quality on this and the NAP is just superb.

The unit was easy to set up and sounded good from the first track I played. I have had the NAIM for a few weeks now and I am extremely pleased with it. The sound is a great improvement on my previous DAC - the sound is clean and the separation of the various instruments is very good.

Having previously owned Naim's NAC-N 272, the NSC 222 is markedly more than a tech refresh. In combination with the NAP 250, it offers a flexible two box system capable of driving a wide range of speakers and delivers a vibrant musicality which I found more dynamic than its already impressive predecessor. Full integration with Tidal, Spotify, Qobus and locally served music, plus local sources digital and analog sources through the Naim App makes it both easy to set up and subsequently enjoy.

Our upgrade journey to the Naim New Classic range started with an interest in the NSC 222 preamplifier as a replacement for our NAC-N 272. Good though the 272 was, we thought that the 222 gave an all-round improvement. Rock solid Wi-Fi connectivity was a welcome consideration too. We were pleased to purchase not just an NSC 222 but also a New Classic NAP 250 power amplifier and NPX 300 power supply too.

I bought the NAP 250 to replace a NAP 250DR, and took the opportunity to also replace my NAC 272 with a NSC 222. The NSC 222 is powered by a Naim 555PS DR. Because I have only listened to the amp as a complete system my impressions are of the whole rather than just the NAP. What I can say is that the improvement over my older equipment is quite remarkable. In brief, music has better clarity and definition. Bass seems to be just as deep, but tighter with greater attack. I can heartily recommend the NAP 250 and NSC 222. My only proviso would be that the included XLR cables are not up to the standard of the amp itself, and I will be looking to a replacement in due course.

Fantastic bit of kit - as easy to setup as a one of the uniti devices, with a similar look & feel, and a fantastic sounding unit.

Substantial upgrade on the HDX which I had before. Lovely tight sound and so much easier to use.
