“I was interested to try out some more Shunyata mains conditioning to see what extra benefits could be squeezed out. Thanks must go to Ben for taking the Typhon out of his own system so I could listen to it in my own set up. I wanted to try a used demo Everest but was concerned about its size; fortunately it had already been sold, since it was the previous generation. The description from Shunyata indicates that the Typhon T2 has the same technology as the latest Everest and it is a much more convenient size / shape for fitting under a rack. Quite frankly it is amazing. The Typhon combined with Sigma X leads brings so much to the party. The bass is deeper, there is more detail, more nuances in the upper range and everything seems more "quiet" so you can appreciate the music. The home demo with Ben showed immediate improvements and these have continued to increase with time. How a few boxes and wires between the mains wall outlet and the amplifier etc can make so much difference to the music is astounding, but they do. Give them a try and I am sure you will be won over as well.”
