“Previously, I’d owned an NDX2 with an XPS DR power supply, but as I moved to a 300 series set-up for amplification (also bought from Audiobarn) I decided to trade up to the NSS 333. Ben offered me a fair deal on the trade in and I put the 333 into my system. I was slightly concerned that going to a bare unit (that is, with no external power supply) would be a downgrade, but I needn’t have worried. The NSS 333?was a significant step up in sound quality in every department. Detail and resolution, dynamics, width and depth of sound stage all improved dramatically. Subsequently, I have added a NPX 300 power supply for the streamer, and a (pre-owned) Naim Hi-line interconnect. Both of these changes have brought further improvement, showing how good the NAC332 pre-amplifier is. I’ve most recently acquired a pre-owned Naim Powerline and this too has refined the presentation and added a greater sense of ease and control to the sound. Vocals are especially good - a three dimensional image of startling realism is now attainable. I like the naturalness of the 333’s presentation and the functionality and ease of use with the Naim app is great. Used in combination with the 332, it’s so easy to use. One touch of the tablet or phone screen and the system puts itself into standby mode, shutting down the devices in order. As you can probably tell, I’m pretty enamoured of this streamer. It’s a great sounding (and looking) piece of kit.”

“The NSS333/NAC332/NAP350 *2/NPX300*2 System replaced a NDX2/ NAC282/NAP250DR/Supercap DR system. Very happy with the upgrade, some music on the old system was harsh sounding. This has all gone with the 300 series can highly recommend. Plus the new kit having a standby setting does noticeably reduce power consumption.”
