Initially I was going to buy the Wilson Benesch series P2.0. But after borrowing the Discovery3zero it was an easy decision to buy the 3zero. I had to push my spending budget up. But it was the right decision. The build quality of the speakers and technology that goes into them, actually makes them quite reasonable priced. When you look at the grand scheme of the speaker market. I am upgrading my audio system to the next level. These speakers are the top level. My previous speakers were Audiovectors R3 Avantgarde. Had for 8 years. These were no slouch. But the 3zero are on a different level. The detail of the instruments and the rich harmonics of the voices. The sound stage is huge. I can not tell the location of the speakers in the room with my eyes closed. What ever music you throw at them, the 3zero can handle any music. The resoluction, speed are impressive. My system is a Grimm Audio MU2, Verter DG-1S, Hydra Delta, Naim 250 power amp. These speakers are end game speakers for most people's systems. I still have more upgrades to do on my system to get the full potential out of these Discovery 3zero.

Jack very generously leant me his demo pair of Discos over Xmas and New Year, ostensibly to finish running them in (they need precisely 168 hours), but he knew that I wouldn't want to give them back - nor will anybody else who hears them... I put an order in straight away. Huge holographic soundstage, the fastest and astonishly deep bass I've ever heard, the timbral accuracy of piano, saxophone and strings sends shivers down the spine, they are absolutely captivating in every possible way. An endpoint loudspeaker if ever there was one. If anybody thinks they don't need to replace their speakers, just go and have a demo, honestly! The build quality is fab, the technology is state of the art, and they're made in the U.K. by a tiny bespoke team of 17 people. I genuinely think they're the biggest upgrade to a system one could possibly make, even with relatively "modest" ancillaries. For info, AB curated the rest of my system: Zenith Mk3 server/T+A DAC200/PrimaLuna EVO300 Hybrid amp, Shunyata Denali/Alpha power distribution, Siltech 880 loom. Audio nirvana... honestly, just book a demo with the chaps, the Discovery 3 is mindblowing.
