“I've never been a cable sceptic, but I've never felt the need to go from a "good" cable to a "great" cable. Until I tried the HB cables from Vertere. Combined with the Calon phono preamp, there's a naturalness and an ease to the music that I just wasn't getting before. It's a cliche, but it genuinely sounds like you have no cable at all and there is simply an uninterrupted connection between the record and what comes out of your speakers. Which I guess is what we're all searching for. The way I explained it to Ben is that a good cable can make it sound like you're listening to the absolutely best recording of a piano that you've ever heard. A great cable can make it sound like you're listening to the piano itself. And the Pulse HB does exactly that.”

“These are expensive interconnects, there’s no doubt of that. Compared to my tellurium silver diamonds - which are also exceptional interconnects and which they replaced -there is better bass articulation and an overall smoothness.”
