“The first thing that strikes you is the absolutely precise soundstage. Perfectly built, with pinpoint placement, width and depth. Then comes the instrument separation - outstanding. Everything stays in its own space, nothing smears, even in the most complex passages you can follow each instrument effortlessly. The tonal balance is completely even from top to bottom, no emphasis, no dips. And that dCS detail - it's velvety, rich and incredibly resolved, but with zero harshness or sharpness. You hear everything, yet there is no listening fatigue at all. Simply enchanting sound. I would easily give it six stars if I could. The only drawback is how hard it is to stop listening.”

“Streaming a wide range of music including Classical, Rock/pop and electronic using Quobuz the Lina DAC X delivered a precise and swift clean detailed performance. It reveals the music as recorded without colouration but with clarity and transparency. Easy to set up using the dcs Mosaic App. In addition it is a good looking meticulously engineered unit mine being in silver.Orchestral music is full and spacious, whist single instruments remain tightly focused. It will enhance any system.”
