“Built like a tank but delivers a great signal for a clear, precise sound with great image depth and sound stage. A 'pretty good' streaming sound can be got for not much money these days. But if you want 'exceptional' I'm afraid you have to push the envelope and budget. The Kala combo of server and player is a genius concept and has ridiculous headroom to deliver all the music on the recording whilst being responsive and seemingly bullet proof. I am an enthusiastic ROON user and found the Kala perfect.”
