“Back in the early 90s, a friend of mine had a pair of the earlier AE1s, and there was something about them that really stuck with me …. their size, front ports, and no-nonsense, utilitarian design. The sound on these modern versions is just alive, with a lovely, sweet treble and bass that bobs along effortlessly. They’re a fantastic all round speaker, and you really can’t go wrong with them and would think they are bigger than they are … and they look superb !”
