The Mantis electric cultivator offers effortless digging power in a compact size and runs so quietly that you won't disturb the neighbours. Simply plug it in, push the button and start cultivating. Refresh or renovate existing garden beds or break ground for planting new ones.

I did a brief trial to check that it worked, which it did, but after a long hot summer, the ground is too dry and hard. A proper trial will have to wait for rain. One aspect where I feel short-changed is that Mantis Tillers are stated by their UK distributors as 'proudly assembled in Pennsylvania with components manufactured both in the United States and abroad'. Mine is labelled 'Made in China'. I made my purchase because I wished to avoid Chinese products in view of their human rights record. In view of the above, I have to give a low star rating at this time.

Excellent machine copes well with stony ground, wish it came with straight tines as well or they were available

I've not used it yet. It is easy to assemble, looks well made , would not anticipate any issues when I first use it.
