The AL-KO Highline 46.0 SP-H, which is suitable for medium to large sized lawn, draws its power from a 2.7kW / 145cc Honda GCVx145 four-stroke engine. The machine is easy to fire up thanks to the automatic mechanical decompression system which opens up the exhaust valve on ignition, resulting in reduced resistance in the recoil starter mechanism. Once on the move, the self-propelled capability means little to no pushing effort on your behalf up to a single speed of 3.5km/h, so the machine is well suited to lawns on an incline and those with rougher, uneven terrain. The XXL drive wheels further maximise manoeuvrability in long grass by providing better traction.
Equipped with a 46cm (18") steel cutting deck, AL-KO's MAX AIRFLOW deep-dome design increases its efficacy in all four mowing modes by 42%, and fills the large 70 litre grass collector to maximum capacity without blocking the large discharge channel. When the grass collection box does need emptying, the integrated bag full indicator will let you know.
The central height adjustment on the AL-KO 46.0 SP-H allows you to adjust the cutting height easily with just one spring-assisted lever, to give a range between 30mm and 80mm through seven pre-set stages.
As with all lawn mowers in the Highline range, the storage, cleaning and maintenance of the mower's cutter deck are all facilitated by AL-KO's clever vertical storage position.
