An extremely robust brush cutter with loop handle, the Cobra BC260C's 26cc two-stroke engine provides faster acceleration, more power, added torque and increased fuel efficiency.
The Cobra BC260C petrol brush cutter features a straight shaft fitted with a tap 'n' go double line cutting head for mowing and thinning. The quality nylon line is automatically readjusted by simply tapping the cutting head on the ground. The newly released line is then cut to the optimum operational length as you continue using the brush cutter. Also included is a three-tooth metal brush cutter blade and a guard for increased operator safety.
The loop handle offers increased operator feel and manoeuvrability, with comfort, balance and control as standard. When combined with the shoulder harness, the Cobra BC260C is ideal for tackling large, demanding clearing tasks.
Designed to make brush cutting your garden a simple and effortless task, the ergonomically-positioned controls not only make operator use more comfortable but, more importantly, make using your Cobra brush cutter as safe as possible.
Cobra brush cutters are backed by a two year manufacturer's warranty.

Online it showed an offer of a few freebies, I made a note saying don’t forget them. Had a call to say offer not on! The guy checked web and it was still showing. He honoured the deal and it arrived next day.. great service and pleased with machine.

Starts easily, works well as a brush cutter and strimmer. A little heavy, but the harness helps. Very good clearing an overgrown allotment.

Absolutely brilliant bit of kit!I have bought other makes of brush cutter in the past, but this machine is by far the best, copes with nearly an acre of steep garden without me breaking a sweat. So light and powerful. Russ

A very good machine for the price. The throttle controls feel a little on the cheap, plastic-y side, but they work, so no complaints there. The engine build and tune quality is good and fittings are robust enough for my 30 minutes a week use. The machine is well balanced when is use. I had considered a split shaft brush cutter, just for the convenience of getting it in the car. I thought this might prove to be an area of weakness, so decided against. Do bear in mind it's about 6ft long, so you may end up sharing your arm rest. In great contrast, the operators manual is absolutely awful: we can usually put up with poor Sino-English translations, but this is topped by certain sections that were (thankfully) not relevant (eg, wiring up the throttle cable) and by extremely poor descriptions and illustrations of how to fit the blade and strimmer line. Seeing as the latter items are dangerous if not properly attached, this is definitely not good. If you're not familiar with brush cutters/strimmers, you will need to do some on-line research so you can get it right. Similarly, there is no mention of the almost hidden manual fuel pump which is required to be pressed a few times on cold start up to get the fuel to the carburettor. Not knowing this would leave you very frustrated. I have noticed that even at the higher end of the market (Stihl, etc) users comment on poor documentation. I have previously purchased a Cobra hedge trimmer (electric), again at the cheaper end of the market, but am quite satisfied with it. Surprisingly, despite plenty of searching, I could find no on-line reviews of the brush cutter, so its purchase was a bit of a leap of faith. I did find a local parts and repair shop, so at least I do have some re-assurance. Finally, in operation, I find the strimmer line equally as effective as the blade on tussocky grass, nettles and brambles. There is the added bonus that it doesn't make holes in the rabbit-proof fencing. The line feed works well, but perhaps a bit more . In summary: I am pleased with the purchase.
