Sporting exceptional performance and style, the Cobra MX46S40V cordless lithium-ion lawn mower allows you to get more mowing done without the need for petrol or the hassle of an electric cable. The Cobra MX46S40V is self-propelled, has a quality 46cm (18") steel deck and is powered by two 4Ah 40V Samsung lithium-ion battery.
Featuring seven fully adjustable cutting heights ranging from 25mm for a superb low finish, up to 75mm for tackling longer grass, the height of cut is achieved by simply using the single height adjustment lever which has been conveniently positioned next to the rear wheels.
The Samsung 40 volt lithium-ion batteries offers a quiet yet powerful and lightweight combination. Equipped with a battery power indicator, by simply pressing the power button, LED lights will give a visual display of how much power is left in the lithium-ion battery. The battery is takes 80% charge in 45 minutes.
Grass clippings are collected into a generous 60 litre fabric grass bag. An added benefit of the Cobra MX46S40V is that it is supplied with a mulch plug. Mulching lawn mowers recycle the grass by finely cutting and re-cutting the clippings. As the clippings decompose, nutrients and fertilisers are returned to the soil which means you are fertilising the lawn at the same time as cutting it.

“I purchased my Cobra to replace a petrol mower, as I was finding the “pull” starting becoming much more difficult for me, this was an age related issue not mechanical. I needed a self propelled mower, and decided on the Cobra MX46S40V, The mower was delivered very promptly and packaged exceptionally well, and the assembly was straight forward. Naturally I couldn’t wait to try it out so after charging both batteries I was ready to go. The mower controls are very similar to any petrol one, so I knew there would be no problem with that, and off I went. I must say I wasn’t disappointed, it did everything my petrol one did, but naturally much quieter. I must say that it is much heavier than I thought, but saying that I do not have to lift it anywhere, so no problem. The charge in batteries seem to last very well, and as there is two of them a definite plus, as it runs perfectly on just one. Only time will tell ref reliability etc, but at present I am very pleased.”

“I've waited and pondered and pondered some more until I saw this lawn mower. It's fantastic! It's changed gardening for me like you wouldn't believe. It has a massive cutting service so cuts twice the amount in one go saving me loads of time. The batteries are brilliant and lasts forever when fully charged. Also when fully charged they stay fully charged, mine were charged and I went back to use the mower 3/4 days later and they were still fully charged. It's comfortable to push and you also have assisted drive with the self propelled lever. Everything about this mower shouts out class, even the full bag indicator flap works a treat. It's very well made very well packaged and easy to assemble, I'm 55 years old, normal heath and it took me on my own 20 minutes (whilst having a cup of tea). If I was to be super critical it would be the bag, when it's full and you remove it from the mower you have a handle on top but nothing on the bottom. A simple woven fabric handle under the bag would be very helpful when emptying. But really I am just nit picking all round this is a great mower I can't see myself ever needing another one. Hi Alex Thank you for you email with regards to registration of your Cobra mower. It is not actually necessary to register the machine as the warranty will operate from your proof of purchase. However, if you do wish to complete this, you can either register it online using the following link: http://www.cobragarden.co.uk/newest_register_yor_machine.aspx , or email service@hentonandchattell.com with details of yourself, the mower and the date of purchase and they can sort it out for you.
