Sporting a wide 52cm steel cutter deck and world-renowned Honda engine, the Cobra MX534SPH is a sure winner for a keen gardener with a large lawn to maintain.
The robust 52cm (21") steel cutter deck has six adjustable cutting heights ranging from 25mm to 75mm allowing you to mow to suit conditions, whether it is a light trim during the summer months or the first cut of the year. This is achieved by simply using the central height of cut adjustment lever.
The 4-in-1 Cobra MX534SPH comes equipped with a mulch plug to enable you to mulch your grass clippings back into the lawn. As the clippings decompose, nutrients and fertilisers are returned to the soil meaning you can cut the grass and fertilise at the same time.
If you don't want to collect your grass cuttings or your lawn has become overgrown, the mower comes equipped with a side discharge function. Simply lift the side blanking plate and insert the side discharge chute. The grass will now be discharged in neat lines to the side of where you are mowing.
The grass collector is made from a durable, high quality fabric which enables a free flow of air to provide compact and efficient collection. The large 65 litre capacity bag will mean more time mowing and fewer stops to empty.
The recoil starting 167cc Honda GCV170 four-stroke engine features overhead valve technology promotes low emissions and increased fuel economy, delivering unrivalled reliability and performance.
The lawn mower is self-propelled with four-speed gearbox which enables you to set the pace and to tackle larger areas or thicker patches of grass with minimal effort. Combined with the extra large rear wheels, you'll be in total control of the mower on slopes and undulating ground, and the mower is highly manoeuvrable, allowing you to cut safely around obstacles in the lawn.

Very easy to start and a strong engine to propel the mower up and down steep banks. I am not convinced it is a great mulcher, but it does the job well enough.

It is a lot of lawnmower for the price. Self-propelled works great and really helps push the weight along. The plastic bits are a bit thin/flimsy and probably won't last long so it will be interesting to see how easy I can get spares. I have the spin blade option which I think is wise unless you have a perfect lawn. The main metal deck is fine. It has thrown the drive belt once already but easy to sort. Great engine - surprisingly economical and the autochoke setup is a breeze. My old machine was a full Honda which was better made ...... but at more than twice the price!
