The CT2204 push spreader from Neilsen is a semi-professional model popular with bowling and cricket clubs. An excellent all round broadcast spreader with three hole drop mechanism, strong and reliable metal flow control rods plus large 250mm pneumatic tyres. The round hopper with wire grid reduces clumps and ensures an even spread which is liked by users as an ice melt spreader. This useful spreader is suitable for the distribution of seed and fertiliser in spring and autumn, and to spread sand, salt and ice-melt during winter. It also spreads dry sand perfectly, ideal for use by tennis clubs on artificial clay courts. The Neilsen CT2204 includes a clear rain cover which enables this great value garden spreader to operate well in damp conditions and keeps the material dry and free flowing.

Build quality is good. Looks like it will only dispense compleatly dry, free running material. It's a shame it could not deal with top dressing as this would have completed the process of overseeding. The bowl could have done with more aggitation to aid seed dispensing. 5kg of grass seed will fill the hopper. I have yet to use it for weed and feed material.
