The Forest Master FM10D-7-TC is a heavy duty domestic seven ton electric log splitter with duocut technology. It is capable of splitting soft and hard wood logs up to 46cm in length and 40cm in diameter at a rate of up to 100 logs per hour.
The duocut blade enables the logs to be split from both ends and effectively splits like a 14 ton machine. This duocut blade is a community registered design and makes this log splitter twice as effective as similarly rated electric log splitters and ensures that, by splitting from both ends, if a knot is encountered at one end, it will still split from the other.
The FM10D-7-TC is fitted with a ram stop which can be used to limit the amount of return travel by the blade. This is a useful feature if you are splitting a lot of short logs as it enables the operator to set the return distance to slightly greater than the log length which will save considerable time.
Safety is ensured thanks to the simultaneous button and lever operation which prevents the log splitter from being operated one handed.
The latest Forest Master log splitter models are fitted with a work bench and guard that are compliant with safety regulations. Unique to Forest Master, and unlike safety cages fitted by other manufacturers, the safety guard has no openings in the side panels to prevent logs getting caught and causing damage. It also allows you to split wider logs than other brands. Assembly required.
