The ideal log splitter for beginners needing to stoke up a small to medium wood burner, the Forest Master FM5T-TC has the capacity to split logs up to 30cm (12") in length.
Unlike other budget log splitters which only have a 1500 watt motor and produce four tons of pressure, the Forest Master FM5T-TC is powered by a 2200W motor which produces five tons of splitting force. It has a quick cycle time of just nine seconds. Button and lever operation complies with the latest safety regulations.
The latest Forest Master log splitter models are fitted with a work bench and guard that are compliant with safety regulations. The log tray eliminates the need to bend down to pick up the logs. Unique to Forest Master, and unlike safety cages fitted by other manufacturers, the safety guard has no openings in the side panels to prevent logs getting caught and causing damage. It also allows you to split wider logs than other brands. Assembly required.
The FM5T-TC comes with Forest Master's universal log splitter stand which uses rear wheels from the log splitter and has a simple foot at the front.
The machine can also be fitted with the Duocut blade (scroll down to related items below). Fitting the duocut blade will reduce the maximum log length capacity to 23cm.
