A heavy duty vertical electric log splitter designed specifically for the UK market, the Forest Master FM6VE is capable of splitting logs up to 1070mm in length. It comes equipped with a powerful 2700 watt motor which is the largest that can be used with a UK 3 pin plug (anything larger requires three phase).Simply push the green button to start the motor. To operate the ram, the splitter has two levers which prevents it from being operated with one hand, making it compliant with the latest safety regulations. Once you have finished, just push the red button to stop the motor. The Forest Master FM6VE log splitter has three set heights for the base - 1070mm, 815mm and 560mm - so you can adjust the log splitter to accommodate various size logs. All you have to do is unhook the platform to move the base to the required height. In addition, you do not have to let the ram travel the full distance back to the top.The motor can be switched off at any stage to hold the position while the next log is loaded, reducing operation time.
