The Forest Master FM8 is a powerful entry-level hydraulic log splitter capable of splitting logs up to 370mm in length and 250mm in diameter.
Unlike other 37cm electric log splitters which only have 1500 watt motors and produce four tons of force, the Forest Master FM8 is equipped with a 2200 watt motor which delivers and impressive five tons of splitting force. It has a simultaneous button and lever operation so that it cannot be operated one handed, making it compliant with the latest safety regulations.
This is the ideal domestic log splitter for cutting firewood for small fires and wood burning stoves.
By adding an optional Duocut blade, the FM8 operates as a twin blade splitter with twice the equivalent splitting capacity. An optional stand is also available for ease of use and more comfortable operation.
