Made from high impact resistant poly this light but exceptionally strong lawn mower with full width roller gives your lawn that traditional striped finish. The split rear roller on the Lawnflite LF43SPBR ensures easy turning and is full width so you can run over lawn edges, saving time trimming the edge. It is fitted with the reliable Briggs and Stratton engine and remote throttle control so you can vary the engine rpm.  A single lever is located at the left-hand side of the mower which can easily be adjusted to your required height setting. Air is inducted between the engine and the deck to aid grass collection performance.
The Lawnflite LF43SPR also has a easy fit mulch plug for mulching your lawn during drier conditions. Fold down handles for easy storage, and a two year domestic user warranty give you peace of mind.
The Lawnflite LF43SPBR is powered by a Briggs & Stratton 500 Series 3hp engine, is self-propelled and features a 43cm (17) width of cut.  The height is adjustable through six cutting heights between 15mm and 65mm.

I purchased the mower to replace a 29 year old Mountfield Empress as it is a very similar design . It was relatively easy to assemble and works very well but unfortunately has one poor design weakness. Where the drive belt fits on the roller there is a metal guard which is too low to the ground. This causes the mower to stall when this guard catches on even the smallest undulation and also makes it difficult to mow over path edges. I also don't like the operator presence control leaver which stops the mower dead as soon as it is released but I assume this is a legal requirement on all new mowers. This is a very good mower and as it has a plastic deck it should not corrode away like my last mower but would not be suitable for very uneven lawns.

The lawn mower arrives with a small amount of self assembly which is easy to complete. It s not an overly heavy machine and feels sturdy and robust. Compared to other respected manufacturers, this model is good value for money. It is easy to operate. Starts first time. Cuts cleanly and at a good walking speed. The back roller that stripes the lawn is not very heavy and the stripes are not as distinct as the heavier mowers. Overall I am very happy with this mower, but it is the first week.

Machine was was relatively straightforward to assemble and works well although February is hardly the month to give a new mower a thorough trial. It appears to be a well-built model and good value for its price.
