Splitting logs for firewood is twice as fast with the Lawnflite LS2000 DUO two-way log splitter, as well as being much easier and safer to use than a traditional axe. The unique patented design features dual splitting wedges at each end of the unit.
With a massive splitting force of 7 tonnes, the Lawnflite LS2000 DUO will make light work of splitting logs up to 10"/25cm in diameter and up to 15"/38cm in length. It is powered by a reliable 2000 watt electric motor and uses a hydraulic ram to push the logs against the purpose-designed splitting wedges.
Featuring a robust frame and equipped with wheels to ensure ease of transportation, this electric log splitter has a "two-handed" operation system for maximum operator safety.
An optional stand is also available to enable you to work at waist height (see accessories below).

“Happy to highly recommend this splitter. Although the price is higher than equivelent power splitters, I would say its well worth it for the duo action which greatly speeds up the splitting process. The delivery was quick, and packaging excellent. It came in a sturdy box within a metal crate, which I've found doubles as a stand for the splitter (though this may not be recommended by the retailer!). It's powerful enough to handle some fairly heafty logs, with a 7ton force in one direction and 6ton in the other. Makes the job easy if you are splitting irregular grained logs with knots.”

“Good log splitter and should be for the price. Not so good communication from the seller. Very slow with reply's, if at all. No advice on delivery times until dlivered?? 3-10 for effort, 7-10 for goods, 10-10 for packaging.”

“So far, brilliant. I hire an 8 ton splitter for a weekend a while back, but this is even better ... the dual action works a treat, and there is something about the shape of the splitting wedges that means the logs are much less prone to getting stuck. Really really pleased with how effective this machine is ... top stuff.”

“I'd been looking for a log splitter for some time, but was concerned that most other log splitters were slow in operation. This two-way log splitter was the ideal solution, as when in use, you don't have to wait for the carriage to return to continue splitting: simply split logs both ways; it's quick and easy to operate. With more than enough power to split even very oversized logs, I can't imagine a situation where this one do what I ask it to. Built extremely heavily (it weighs in at a whopping 69kg!), it feels incredibly solid in use, but is easy to move on the two wheels attached to one end. With a safety interlock, the hydraulic system is very simple to use and is and robustly put together, with a 2kW motor that is more than man enough for the job, even under stall conditions. The only criticism I would level is that the power lead is far too short, this pulling taut the first time I used it and breaking the plastic gland to the control box on the motor. I have now lengthened the power lead to a more usable length. I'be also got a 4 way splitter attachment for it, which makes the job even faster. This product represents extremely good value for money, especially when you take into account the free delivery. The time saving and back-breaking labour saving that this product gives is well worth the purchase price. Overall, I consider that this product would be ideal for most people in most situations. Most people do not need a 10 tonne petrol engine powered log splitter, but the small 4 tonne units are toys compared to this. I could heartily recommend it.”
